Candidates must have a BA/BS in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in stakeholder analysis or related areas. A strong understanding of behavioral science and experience with analytical tools are also required.
Overview DecisionPoint seeks a Senior Stakeholder Affairs Analyst to serve as the senior analytical subject matter expert for stakeholder behavior, sentiment patterns, perception drivers, and engagement trends affecting military families, Service members, caregivers, and associated communities. This role supports strategic outreach, public engagement, and enterprise decision-making by delivering high-quality insights based on data, research, and behavioral frameworks. The Senior Stakeholder Affairs Analyst will partner with communications, analytics, UX, and leadership teams to develop evidence-based recommendations that strengthen stakeholder understanding and optimize engagement strategies across all mission areas. Duties & Responsibilities The Senior Stakeholder Affairs Analyst will: Lead analysis of stakeholder behavior, attitudes, needs, and perception drivers across diverse military-connected populations. Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, risk indicators, and engagement opportunities. Develop stakeholder segmentation models and behavioral personas. Produce quarterly and annual analytical reports that inform enterprise strategy and outreach goals. Advise leadership on engagement tactics, targeting approaches, and communication strategies based on insights. Oversee stakeholder-facing data integration and dashboard inputs in coordination with analytics teams. Evaluate sentiment, feedback, and behavioral signals across digital and offline channels. Provide scenario-based insights to prepare for emerging issues or perception shifts. Lead cross-functional collaboration with outreach, policy, UX, and research teams to align engagement methods with evidence-based understanding. Present findings to leadership through briefings, presentations, and visualized data products. Qualifications Clearance Requirement Candidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher. Education (Required) BA/BS in Communications, Public Affairs, Public Administration, Sociology, Behavioral Science, Marketing, or a related field. Experience (Required) Minimum 10 years of experience in stakeholder analysis, behavioral research, public affairs analytics, or community insights. Demonstrated expertise analyzing engagement patterns across diverse stakeholder groups. Experience supporting federal, DoD, nonprofit, or large public-facing engagement programs. Technical Knowledge (Required) Strong understanding of behavioral science, perception analysis, stakeholder research methodologies, and engagement frameworks. Experience using analytical tools and research methods to drive insights. Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into strategic recommendations. Technical Knowledge (Preferred) Experience with sentiment analysis, social listening platforms, or engagement analytics tools. Familiarity with military community dynamics, policy environments, or federal outreach programs. Skills Exceptional analytical, interpretive, and strategic thinking abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights to leadership. Ability to translate complex stakeholder dynamics into clear recommendations. Excellent collaboration and cross-team coordination capabilities. High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in analysis and reporting.
