We are a boutique high-end custom home building company. We build very detailed homes, either through renovations or from the ground up. We are seeking a Project Manager for the Pasadena area. If you have the right background and/or similar experience, we are willing to train if you’ve got the drive, enthusiasm and work ethic needed for such a position. Our ideal candidate for us is fun, smart, capable, self-motivated, excellent communicator, self-aware, possesses strong computer skills, and is curious. Self-starter, team driven, detail-oriented and enthusiastic about building and renovating exceptional custom homes is a must. Duties & Responsibilities: • Break down plans for bidding. • Interpret contracts and negotiate with sub-contractors. • Oversee development of plans and specifications from architects. • Create budgets and manage expenses. • Obtain project approvals and permits. • Travel to jobsites to follow-through with job progress and quality control. • Interact with clients and architects. Preferred Experience: • Position requires frequent problem solving and a high degree of autonomy in decision making while working collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors, etcetera. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Valid driver’s license required. • Able to work independently and be self motivated. • Computer literacy is a must. • Knowledge of Excel is a huge plus. • Knowledge of Bluebeam would be nice.
