We are seeking an experienced Automotive/Welding Teacher to instruct high school students in automotive repair, welding, and related technical skills. Complete an application at: https://www.applitrack.com/resa/onlineapp/JobPostings/view.asp?FromAdmin=true&AppliTrackJobId=31120 Educational Qualifications: • Possession or qualification for a State of Michigan Standard or Professional Teaching Certificate with CTE Endorsement for CIP 47.0604 (Automotive Technician - ASE Certified). • Required to possess and maintain a minimum of two years (4000 hours) of recent and relevant work experience within the past 10 years in the career field. • If the position requires teaching courses other than state-approved CTE courses, possession of qualification for a State of Michigan Standard, or Professional teaching certificate with appropriate IX, TE or other Industrial Arts endorsements. Must be highly qualified in all subject areas taught. • Applicants with a High School Diploma and 4000 documented work hours in a related field (within past ten years) may qualify for an Annual CTE Authorization in lieu of Education Certificates • Possession or qualification for appropriate industry licensure where indicated (ASE A4, A5, Ag + G1 certified) • Possession of qualification for current CPR and First Aid certification.
