Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager specializing in Plumbing to lead our service department with energy and expertise. Duties • Manage and coordinate all plumbing service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of service technicians and plumbers to ensure high performance and professional growth • Oversee the quality of plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance work to meet company standards and industry regulations • Implement upselling strategies by identifying additional service opportunities such as fixture upgrades or preventative maintenance packages • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all team members • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster positive relationships to encourage repeat business • Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, labor hours, and financial transactions including cash handling Skills • Proven experience in dealership or automotive service management with a strong understanding of plumbing systems is highly desirable • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team • Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing components, fixtures, and related systems including water heaters, pumps, pipes, valves, and drainage solutions • Ability to diagnose plumbing issues accurately using industry-standard tools and techniques • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem resolution • Knowledge of auto estimating software or similar tools for accurate job costing and invoicing • Experience in upselling additional services or products to enhance revenue streams • Familiarity with safety standards related to plumbing work as well as general workplace safety protocols Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering reliable plumbing solutions!
