Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, project management, and construction management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex electrical systems, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as NEC. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, technical proficiency, and leadership capabilities to drive project success. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project workflows. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools; monitor progress and adjust plans accordingly. Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating software; manage change orders and contract modifications. Oversee system design, schematic development, and blueprint reading to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards. Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment; ensure timely delivery to meet project deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on construction sites; conduct regular site inspections. Maintain comprehensive documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports. Lead project meetings, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly to minimize delays. Supervise construction site activities to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications. Skills Proven experience in construction management , project management , and construction site experience within electrical or related fields. Strong knowledge of NEC , system design , blueprint reading , and schematics for electrical systems. Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Esticom ; familiarity with ProCore , and other relevant tools is highly desirable. Solid understanding of contracts , construction estimating , and cost control methodologies. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, and stakeholders at all levels. Technical expertise in electrical wiring principles related to system design and installation standards. This position is integral to delivering high-quality electrical projects that meet client expectations while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
