Lead complex IT projects using Agile methodologies, manage budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder relationships to align with strategic priorities.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 7+ years IT experience, 5+ years managing IT projects, Agile experience required, PMP certification preferred, cloud technology experience required.
Description: • Provide strategic leadership for complex IT projects with budgets between $1M and $25M • Ensure project goals are tightly aligned with DaVita’s mission and strategic priorities • Translate high-level strategy into actionable plans • Participate in identifying and prioritizing opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve enterprise goals • Navigate project complexities and proactively shape project plans • Act as servant leader, remove impediments, foster ownership and accountability • Lead projects using Agile methodologies, facilitate sprint planning, guide iterative development cycles • Guide teams in continuous discovery and continuous delivery • Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight for project teams • Cultivate collaborative relationships with stakeholders and develop stakeholder engagement plans • Deliver presentations to stakeholders at all levels • Take ownership of project outcomes from initiation to closure and manage risks • Lead, plan, schedule, track, and manage deliverables, goals, milestones, scope and change control • Develop and manage project budgets, analyze variances, and resolve invoice issues • Analyze results, identify lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a related area required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience may be substituted • Minimum of seven (7) years’ IT experience required • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing IT projects • Demonstrated experience translating high-level strategy into actionable project plans • Demonstrated experience leading projects with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) required • Experience with projects involving cloud technologies required • Demonstrated experience in resource management and change management techniques required • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Project required • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or completion of another recognized project management certification (preferred) • Change management or Lean Six Sigma certifications (preferred) • Experience with project portfolio management (PPM) tools (e.g., Targetprocess Clarity, Smartsheet, Jira, Microsoft Project Online) (preferred) • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (preferred) • Experience with Continuous Discovery and Delivery frameworks (preferred) • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, etc.) (preferred) Benefits: • Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision • 401(k) match • Paid time off • PTO cash out • Family resources • EAP counseling sessions • Access Headspace ® • Backup child and elder care • Maternity/paternity leave • Professional development programs • On-demand virtual leadership and development courses via StarLearning
