Job Summary DaVita Revenue Operations (ROPS) is updating its reporting environment and moving from legacy reports to a suite of Tableau dashboards that provide clearer, more reliable insights. These dashboards help business partners across the revenue cycle understand performance, identify issues, and support day-to-day and strategic decisions. As a Tableau Analyst, you will design and build these dashboards, work directly with business partners to understand what they need to run their areas, and dig into underlying data structures to make sure the analytics are correct and useful. The role relies heavily on strong Tableau development skills, the ability to tell a clear story with data, and comfort working with SQL and SSIS to understand how metrics are created and why they behave as they do. Having previously played an active role in technical analytics projects or workstreams is a significant plus. Prior exposure to healthcare analytics, coding, or administration/management is also highly valuable. Key Responsibilities Design and build Tableau solutions Develop Tableau dashboards and reports that handle complex data and are understandable for non-technical users. Turn complex data into clear, practical stories that help partners answer specific business questions. Understand the data and logic behind the reports Review SQL tables, views, stored procedures, and SSIS packages to understand how data flows and how metrics are calculated. Identify issues or inconsistencies in the data or logic and work with technical teams to resolve them. Work directly with business partners Meet with partners to understand their responsibilities, workflows, and reporting pain points. Ask targeted questions to clarify what they need to monitor, decide, and improve, then translate that into a clear dashboard design and metric definitions. Collaborate across technical teams Coordinate with Database Analysts, Backend Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts to confirm data sources, definitions, and business rules. Participate in small, cross-functional project teams that move dashboards from concept to production. Improve, support, and document Incorporate feedback from partners to refine layout, logic, and usability. Provide user support, troubleshoot dashboard issues, and maintain clear documentation, including user guides and runbooks. What Success Looks Like Business partners regularly use your dashboards to manage and improve their areas of the revenue cycle. Tableau dashboards replace older manual or legacy reports for key questions and are trusted as accurate. Metrics and logic are well understood, documented, and traceable back through SQL and SSIS. You are seen as a reliable partner who understands both the business context and the technical details. Required Skills and Experience 3 to 5 years of experience designing and building Tableau dashboards in complex data environments. Proven success using Tableau to support analysis, including calculations, parameters, and interactive views. Strong ability to tell a clear, concise story with data for business audiences. Hands-on experience using SQL to explore data, trace logic, and validate results. Experience reviewing or working with SSIS packages or similar ETL processes to understand how data is moved and transformed. Demonstrated ability to ask the right questions to clarify business needs and define end-state dashboards and metrics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical partners. Comfort working with data in tools such as SQL, Excel, or similar platforms. Preferred Qualifications Previously played an active role in technical analytics projects or workstreams. Prior experience in healthcare analytics, coding, or administration/management. Experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations. Familiarity with ETL tools, data modeling concepts, or modern data warehousing.
