The Configuration Analyst will ensure that the DaVita Physician Solutions CKD EHR by Epic is configured for nephrologists. They will work independently with physicians to optimize workflows and manage documentation and testing of changes.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required along with knowledge in Epic Community Connect and nephrology. Candidates should also have proficiency in Epic tools and healthcare IT security concepts.
Posting Date 10/14/2025 2000 16th St, Denver, Colorado, 80202-5117, United States of America Along with the larger team goals of physician satisfaction and improving CKD quality, the primary goal of the Configuration Analyst is ensuring that the newly branded solution, DaVita Physician Solutions CKD EHR by Epic, is perfectly configured for nephrologists. The Configuration Analyst will be expected to: Be an Epic expert and become Epic Certified. This is a two-month process, including tests/projects/travel to Madison, WI Be nephrology workflow experts: demonstrated by their ability to know key physician and office staff workflows Combine Epic expertise + workflow expertise to independently make configuration decisions within Epic and use Epic tools to own the configuration of our Epic instance To accomplish this goal, a successful Configuration Analyst will independently: Exhibit strong research/assessment skills: Scan market for best practices to implement in Epic Become an expert in the Epic suite of tools, including becoming Epic Certified Conduct primary research with nephrologists Interpret research to build ideal physician workflows to: Maximize physician time/value, by reducing documentation time Best support the management of CKD, with goal to increase the number of optimal dialysis starts and reduce hospitalizations Expectation for this teammate to work independently with physicians and their practices to determine best course of action to configure, and take action for optimizing workflow within Epic independently; Additionally, accountable for documentation and testing of workflow changes Key competencies for this role include: Adaptability/flexibility with respect to changing end-user business needs Critical thinking, ability and willingness to see things with an open mind Self-starter, with ability and willingness to learn new systems Seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine root cause and develop course of action to resolve issue and prevent recurrence Strong relationship building and communicator Perseverance in difficult and time-sensitive situations ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Incident and request resolution Monitor ServiceNow for incidents and requests assigned to team Follow-up with requesters as needed for additional information Update status and document notes and resolution Manage team-owned workqueues and error logs Some on-call responsibilities for urgent issues Management of workqueues and error queues Documenting and migrating build 2. Implementation support Assist in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, build, testing, and go-live phases of the implementation Support users and training team with build fixes and responding to questions about workflow design Implementation support for new practices and new modules Documenting and migrating build Written and verbal collaboration with end users and internal partners to understand issues, design solutions, and explain workflows Engaging with third parties to define, build, test, and troubleshoot integrated workflows 3. Upgrade, enhancement, and special projects work Support Epic upgrades in assessing needs, completing build, testing, and supporting training team with contents of change/update. Learn about future trends in EHR technology to support and promote high value build and functionality in areas such as Interoperability for Nephrologists and their practices, offshore user access review, various Link access. Work in Nova, Asana, Product Board, JIRA and other tools to document build steps and statuses Work with end users and SMEs to understand enhancement and optimization requests Research, design, build, and testing of workflows and enhancements Host go/no go calls, documenting and migrating build for weekly bug fix, EBFs, and monthly sprint upgrades 4. Other duties as assigned. Mentoring and training of other Epic team members on process, procedures and best practices for User and Security to ensure safe movement of build and changes. This position will be open for a minimum of three days. The Salary Range for the role is $75,200.00 - $110,400.00 per year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
