Description: As a Senior Operations Manager at Dave & Buster's, you will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all facets of the venue's operations. This role demands a hands-on approach to managing staff, optimizing performance, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You'll work closely with the General Manager and other department heads to drive profitability, maintain operational standards, and foster a positive, high-energy work environment. Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of managers and staff to achieve business objectives and personal growth. • Oversee daily venue operations, including food and beverage, entertainment, and guest services. • Analyze business performance, sales data, and labor costs to develop and implement effective strategies for improvement. • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. • Champion the Dave & Buster's culture, ensuring every team member is committed to providing an unparalleled guest experience. • Manage inventory, quality control, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. • Handle guest feedback and resolve complex issues to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction. • Lead staff meetings, conduct performance reviews, and manage disciplinary actions as needed. • Collaborate with the corporate team to implement new promotions, initiatives, and operational changes. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all venue departments to effectively manage and support them. • Oversee facility maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and efficiency. Qualifications: • Proven experience in a senior management role within the hospitality, restaurant, or entertainment industry. • Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing successful teams. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with staff, guests, and senior management. • Solid business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyze P&L statements, and drive financial performance. • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs. • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. • Must be at least 18 years of age due to managerial responsibilities involving alcohol service and finance.
