As an Event Coordinator at Dave & Buster's, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating outstanding event experiences that meet and exceed guest expectations. This full-time position requires a highly organized, proactive professional who can manage all aspects of event planning and execution. Your responsibilities will range from conceptualizing and planning events such as birthday parties, corporate gatherings, team-building activities, and social functions, to managing client communications, creating detailed proposals, overseeing event logistics, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the event lifecycle. This role involves working closely with internal teams across food and beverage, gaming, and operations departments to seamlessly integrate each element of the event. You will act as the primary contact for clients, building lasting relationships by understanding their needs and preferences, and delivering tailored solutions. The successful candidate must be able to handle budget management, contract development, and timeline coordination to ensure efficient resource allocation and maximum satisfaction. On event days, you will oversee setup and teardown, address any arising issues promptly, and maintain detailed records of event details, guest interactions, and financial data. Being knowledgeable about the company's offerings and promotions is essential to better inform prospective clients and promote repeat business. You will also be expected to uphold a professional demeanor and contribute positively to the team environment, supporting colleagues as needed. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including the availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules. Physical stamina is necessary to manage activities such as standing for extended periods, moving about the facility, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.
