Description We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage the ended-to-end shipment cycle from inventory ordering through the delivery of shipments. Primary areas of focus will include management and documentation of shipment exceptions, which entails communicating with carriers and clients for any in-transit shipment that has been identified as in jeopardy of not meeting the scheduled pick-up and/or delivery service requirements. The Logistics Coordinator is a key part of the team and is working directly with the carriers. Responsibilities: · Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time. · Work with the customer service team to schedule outbound shipments. · Work with freight and customs brokers to ensure customs documents are correct for incoming goods. · Work with freight brokers and trucking companies to schedule delivery of incoming goods. · Provide updated information to the sales team for incoming and outgoing shipments. · Place and manage inventory replenishment orders with factories overseas. · Carrier Invoice registration in ERP System.
