Lead and manage the successful implementation of Warehouse Management Systems projects using the ASAP methodology, ensuring stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, and project documentation.
2+ years project management experience, familiarity with Agile, software project implementation experience, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a bachelor's degree preferred.
The Project Manager (or Associate Project Manager) is the voice of the customer and is accountable for the successful project completion leading to the implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for customers worldwide. The PM will work with the Implementation Manager and collaborate cross-departmentally with Datex team members to apply the ASAP implementation methodology to ensure success of Footprint software product implementations. Applicants must be located in the United States. Essential Job Functions Fully understand the Datex ASAP Methodology for Footprint Implementation Create a detailed work plan to identify and sequence activities needed to successfully complete the project Ensure each phase of ASAP is completed successfully leading to customer Footprint implementations Ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured Establish a communication schedule to update project stakeholders as to the progress of the project Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks throughout the project Ensure any changes to project scope, timeline, resources, etc. are properly managed Ensure all signoffs are received when appropriate and stored in a secure location Other duties Identify and suggest improvements in project management toolkits and methodologies used, including ASAP Identify potential innovations and solutions where precedents and procedures may not exist Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong relationship building with customers Clear, professional communication skills required Experience in serving as liaison between customer business needs and internal tech teams Able to support multiple projects of differing complexity and multi-phased implementations Proven commitment to providing high quality service to clients Comfortable interacting with people and working on group projects Focused on the fine details of the project at hand Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even in the face of possible failure Comfortable working independently Skilled at prioritizing and organizing work Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Agile work practices Scrum Master familiarity or training preferred Process Improvement basics or training preferred (Green/Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) Software project management or implementation required Bilingual English/Spanish plus This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Employer.
