About the role: This role manages the Mobile Device Management (MDM) software for the Wireless Watchdog division by installing, deploying, updating, and monitoring policy, profiles, configurations, and applications on client owned devices. In addition, the MDM Project Manager is responsible for providing technical support to customers via telephone, web, and face to face. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the MDM software on client applicable hardware for optimal security and policy adherence. What You’ll Do: • Own and operate Client deployed MDM solution. • Upload, update, maintain, and delete iOS, MAC OS, Android and Windows Apps. • Test and QA new iOS and Android releases; manage the deployment process and schedule. • Manage users and ensure user data is accurate in the MDM. • Create, configure, and maintain security policies on the MDM and maintain enforcement. • Understand MDM reporting capabilities and provide weekly reports to Mobile Architect. • Create, update, and maintain users and device owners in the MDM. • Assess MDM capabilities and provide recommendations on optimization and usage. • Provide hardware and software support for IOS, MAC OS, Android and Windows devices enrolled into client’s MDM Solution. • Work with customers to resolve technical issues. • Work with customers to plan/scope new projects, configuration and settings within MDM environments. • Coordinate with the Account Manger team to create onboarding processes/documentation for internal support. • Create user enrollment documentation (Tips, tricks, FAQs) as client is onboarded. • Create user documentation (Tips, tricks, FAQs) as new features and Apps are deployed. • Maintain the Enterprise Mobility page under the guidance of the Mobile Architect. • Understand Apple DEP and VPP. • Maintain Apple Business/Knox/Android Enterprise Tokens and Certificates up to date. • Understand and create different tags and groups by location, department, and use case. • Maintain the Client’s WWD Client portal MDM settings. • Assist with piloting and testing new Apps for enterprise use. • Pilot/Test/Configure/Deploy new profiles and settings on behalf of the client. • Maintain a good standing relationship and meeting cadence with MDM Client, ensuring customer relationship success. • Inform/suggest changes on client accounts to increase productivity and streamline processes. • Stay abreast of new wireless technology and solutions for clients. • Resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems. What Skills & Experience You’ll Need: • 2+ years of experience in a computer hardware environment, or the equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience. • Degree in a computer-related field, MIS, IT, or related field skills, or the equivalent combination of training and experience. • Attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills. • Ability to adhere to and meet deliverables following strict service level agreements. • Knowledge of computer hardware and software including recent Microsoft and Mac operating systems, and Microsoft and Mac common desktop applications. • Knowledge of mobile device hardware and software including iOS and Android platforms. • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki, VMWare Airwatch, Microsoft Intune, or Jamf. • Basic API and scripting skills highly desired. • A+ or similar certifications are a plus. • Demonstrated ability to assist and communicate well with internal customers. • Excellent customer service skills. • Ability to prioritize among multiple, competing requests. • Must be a self-starter with strong organization skills.
