About the role: We’re looking for a hands-on Field Marketing Manager to own the planning and execution of Datagrid’s in-person events and field programs. This is an execution-focused role for someone who loves running great events, staying organized, and delivering high-quality experiences across multiple cities. What you’ll do: Event Execution (Core Focus) Plan and execute 60–80 person in-person events across major cities (SF, Austin, NYC, Chicago, etc.) Run Agentic-thons / hackathon-style events, including logistics, agendas, and on-site execution Fully own events end-to-end: venue sourcing, vendors, catering, AV, registration, and day-of coordination Conferences & Third-Party Events Support Datagrid’s presence at select industry conferences Handle logistics such as booth coordination, materials, staffing schedules, and event checklists Create repeatable conference and event checklists to improve efficiency over time ~30% domestic travel to field events and trade shows Operational & Post-Event Follow-Up Coordinate post-event follow-ups with sales and internal teams Capture post-event feedback and learnings to improve future programs Maintain organized documentation, timelines, and event playbooks What you’ll have: Must-Have 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or event planning Experience planning and executing in-person events (50–100+ attendees) Strong organizational and project management skills Clear, professional communication skills Comfortable owning events independently with minimal hand-holding Nice-to-Have Background in event planning or hospitality B2B SaaS or tech company experience Experience supporting events across multiple cities Why This Role Is a Great Fit Clear ownership without senior-level strategic pressure Hands-on, execution-driven role with visible impact Opportunity to grow into a more senior GTM or marketing role over time Salary & Benefits Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 Generous equity compensation Flexible vacation/time-off policy All U.S. federal holidays Competitive benefits package 401(k) plan The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is between $80,000 - $100,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time or temporary positions.
