ServiceNow Administrator Developer As a member of the Data Management Group professional services arm, the ServiceNow Administrator Developer is a technical role responsible for development, client consultation and guidance of client facing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Administrator Developer contributes to the planning, design and implementation of solutions and takes overall accountability for the requirements and delivered solution to the customer on the ServiceNow platform. Key Areas of Responsibility • Support the business in scoping and implementing technical solutions which may involve multiple ServiceNow product lines and potential integrations with other applications and systems • Design technical solutions aligned to the business requirements and ServiceNow best practices focusing on low code or no code where possible • Identify and document customer requirements, transition into solutions, and communicate to clients to achieve requirement sign off by customer and or business • Translate signed off requirements into stories, estimate effort, monitor overall work product and own delivery and quality of development • Perform necessary sprint or story demos, deliver required development artifacts, documentation and perform knowledge transfer to customer resources if / when requested • Provide mentorship and guidance to client resources with respect to design standards and best practices within the ServiceNow ecosystem • Record all time worked accurately and keep calendar up to date with scheduled activities • Other duties as assigned by client or internal leadership Qualifications Education and/or Experience Qualifications • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – current (must or similar experience) • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – current (nice to have) • 5+ years working on the ServiceNow platform and 6+ years of Industry experience Required Qualifications • Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions • Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS • Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc. • Experience implementing development work using the Agile/Scrum methodology • Experience with Asset and Vulnerability Management • Active listening skills, takes ownership of contributing input to the conversation while demonstrating strong communication skills in written, interpersonal, and presentational situations • Demonstrated ability to influence, consult and recommend using pros, cons and risks while discussing business processes and/or technical problems and relay in plain English and not just IT jargon • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity • Proven team player • Ownership, accountability, and attention to detail • Maturity, professionalism, and judgment • Ability to excel with minimum supervision • Commitment to customer satisfaction • Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, and proven experience in technical consulting roles.
