Fine dining establishment for over three decades. Since 1984, Darrel and Oliver's Café Maxx has been delighting patrons with their innovative, award-winning cuisine. We are a small business and looking for the right person to join the team. You will run the office along with the owner and be his right hand person assisting with decision making along with the daily accounting duties. Must love to organize and check things off your list! We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Office Admin Manager. Accounting/Bookkeeping experience necessary. QuickBooks experience is a must! Hours are Monday-Friday 10am-5pm / 35 hours/weel Duties of the Office Admin/Bookkeeper include but not limited to: Responsibilities 1. Maintain A/P and write vendor payments in Quickbooks 2. Daily Cash reconciliation 3. Daily Sales & Payroll in Excel 4. Settle Credit Card Batch Daily 5. Reconcile House accounts 6. Weekly Financial Reports 7. Answer and direct phone calls 8. Organize and schedule reservations 9. Develop and maintain a filing system 10. Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms 11. Maintain website and social media platforms 12. Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients Skills 1. Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant 2. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures 3. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel) & QuickBooks 4. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work 5. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 7.
