Full Description

We are seeking an experienced logistics manager to work from our Fairfield, Ohio location to coordinate logistics between our warehouse, headquarters, events and various related locations for both Darana Hybrid, Inc and activities with the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA). The primary role of the logistics manager will be to oversee, dispatch, monitor, maintain, and coordinate our fleet of equipment in the procurement, storage, and delivery of various items stored onsite and kept in motion throughout the season. The logistics manager will make sure all equipment and loads are safely prepared, loaded, tracked, and delivered to their final destination on-time and without incident. To ensure this, the logistics manager may be required to go onsite for various motorsport related events. As such, having a CDL-A, especially with manual endorsement is highly suggested. Our equipment consists of new and highly sought older equipment such as new, efficient Peterbilt and International semis and new F150 pickups. In addition, but not limited to, the logistics manager will also ensure safety and reporting including: • Oversee/perform safety and reporting to FMSCA and IFTA standards. • Oversee ELDs and tracking. • Manage, train, and schedule subordinate staff. • Pull oversize and special permits. • Coordinate with administration in the process of hiring and procurement. • Work with teams/event planning staff to ensure proper execution start-to-finish. • Perform other work related duties as deemed necessary. Salary is dependent on experience - please apply and share your experience for evaluation including any relevant trucking and logistics experience/certifications.
