Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized office assistant/ Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting project execution from inception to completion, ensuring seamless coordination among stakeholders, and maintaining adherence to project schedules and budgets. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing advanced project management tools and software. A strong background in construction site experience, blueprint reading, and contract management is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities • Assist in developing and maintaining office and project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to facilitate accurate project execution • Support cost estimating processes utilizing HeavyBid and construction estimating tools • Track project progress, update schedules, and prepare reports for stakeholders • Manage contract documentation, change orders, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations • Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the construction site to promote efficiency • Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of phases • Assist in procurement activities and material scheduling using Civil 3D and other relevant software • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on-site Skills • Proficiency with construction management software such as pro core, Quickbooks pro project scheduling tools • Strong understanding of construction estimating, contracts, blueprint reading, and schematics • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively • Knowledge of construction site operations and experience working on or coordinating construction projects • Ability to read technical drawings and interpret construction documents accurately • Effective communication skills for coordinating between teams and stakeholders • Familiarity with construction management principles including project scheduling, contracts administration, and site safety protocols • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing project documentation and schedules • This duel role is integral to the successful delivery of our projects by ensuring efficient coordination across all phases of general services/construction.
