The Presales Specialist will be responsible for the development and management of contract documents while maintaining a high attention to detail. You will provide insight and business recommendations based on deal analysis. Your responsibilities include identifying any discrepancy or potential gaps in the deal elements and focusing on continuously improving the process. This role will also be recommending solutions and sharing best practices in partnership with your manager and more senior analysts. The role will build and maintain close collaboration with other departments/stakeholders including sales, sales management, operations, marketing, legal and finance. You will need to know how to work independently as well as in a team environment. This position is part of the Contract Development team and will be fully remote. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To • Create customer-facing proposal documents to help Sales win business while ensuring compliance to company policies, assessing risk, and redlining customer terms • Act as a trusted Sales partner by advising on how best to handle objections, alternative contract options, and/or value propositioning to help drive deal closures • Act with ownership and urgency to support the speed of business, while ensuring a quality proposal output to best position the company for growth • Builds trusted partnerships with cross functional peers and stakeholders to ensure an overall streamlined process across the various handoffs and touchpoints • Act as a partner with Legal, Finance, Sales, Service, Marketing, and IT on contract matters to aid in closing deals The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include • High School Diploma with 6+ years' experience OR Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years’ experience working in a combination of Pricing, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Contracting, and/or Quoting roles • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to facilitate deal closures • Experience as a sales advocate or partner to provide feedback and solutions to assist closing deals • Experience maintaining all organizational and professional ethical standards in a fast-paced environment • Ability to critically analyze and evaluate contract deals to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives; This includes assessing terms and conditions, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and developing strategies to maximize value and minimize liabilities. The hourly range for this role is $35.50 - 41.50. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
