The Senior Key Technology Commodity Manager is responsible for creating, disseminating, and delivering Category Strategy that should map out the capability, performance, risk, and desired future state of the Key Tech commodity improving performance through PPV projects, VAVE (Value Analysis Value Engineering), Transport & Logistics savings, deliver robust MSA\s/LTA’s to migrate from spot buy to strategic relationship, and robust SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) programs. This individual will have management responsibilities over the Global SRM(s). This associate will own the Plan for Every Supplier (P4ES) and support linkage with Plan for Every Part (P4EP) owned by the Materials Management function. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Cost Management (40%): Management of PPV funnel, project management and project execution, setting and delivering yearly PPV and VAVE savings Management of Supplier Relationship Managers (25%): Supplier Meetings/Visits, SBR’s, Materials Team collaboration, LTA’s/MSA’s negotiation/contract administration, Supplier OTD improvements, Support site/Pall Inventory Target management, Supplier Evaluation and Risk Assessment (SERA), and sustainability. Category Strategy (25%): Creation and execution of assigned commodity strategy Customer (Internal & External) Relationship Management (10%): Ops/R&D/Engineering/Quality/Sales/Product Management collaboration, external customer support as necessary Domestic/International travel will be required 50% The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or relevant experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Supplier Relationship Management or equivalent Minimum 3 years experience in leadership role. Deep commodity knowledge of Key Technology (chemicals, resins, membranes) preferred Global Sourcing experience for a global multinational manufacturing company Proven negotiation skills, with demonstrated performance results Experience in SAP is preferred, and experience utilizing electronic sourcing tools (eRFQ, eBid, eAuction, etc.) It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Building, maintaining, and fostering relationships with suppliers. Ability to interpret product Bill of Materials (BOM's) and Drawings. The annual salary range for this role is $140-155K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
