Portfolio Compliance Analyst- Investment Management- Boston, MA We are seeking candidates for a Portfolio Compliance Analyst position with an industry leading investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will be part of the Portfolio Guideline Monitoring and Portfolio Integrity Team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of investment compliance experience with strong knowledge of investment types, including equity and fixed income products, and derivatives. This is a 6 month contract that will pay $30-36/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position is required to be onsite 4 days per week in their Boston office. Responsibilities: • Support investment teams by ensuring that transactions and holdings comply with client guidelines and regulatory requirements. • Reviewing Investment Management Agreements, interpreting client guidelines, maintaining the Sentinel guideline monitoring system, providing real-time pre-trade support, and resolving post-trade exceptions. • Collaborate closely with fellow Guideline Monitoring Analysts and internal partners, including Global Relationship Teams, Product Management, and Portfolio Management - to develop a strong understanding of investment strategies and their alignment with client and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • 1–3 years of experience in investment management. • Solid understanding of various investment types, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives. • Experience with investment guideline monitoring, investment compliance, 40 Act and UCITS regulations, or coding restrictions into compliance systems, particularly Sentinel is a strong plus. • Self-starter with confidence, drive, curiosity, strong control awareness, and a results-oriented mindset. • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively. • Strong attention to detail and proficiency with standard business software, including Word and Excel.
