Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a Regional Equipment Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Region! This role is critical to our success understanding Daikin's strategic product direction and obtain necessary product knowledge on the key products in order to provide training on new and existing products, conduct joint customer sales calls, represent the company at industry functions and answer sales related technical questions on the products. This individual will work closely with Daikin's equipment sales representatives in the region to increase their sales effectiveness to grow share of the market in each of the company's product categories. Location: Remote role based out of the Mid-Atlantic and surrounding area with occasional travel What You Will Do • Provide Sales leadership to manufactures’ Sales Representatives • Provide feedback to Regional General Manager relative to market sales trends and sales representative’s product needs • Coordinate all meetings with sales representatives and related contacts critical to the sale of products (Engineering firms, Contractors, Daikin Applied Service, etc.) • Provide sales forecast for region of all products • Meet and exceed prescribed sales targets for the assigned region • Provide training as needed in support of product sales • Interact and seek assistance from Product Sales Managers, National Accounts Managers, Solutions Sales Managers and Regional Operations Manager • Evaluate proficiency of Manufactures’ representatives relative to maintaining product line sales balance • Interface with various support groups of Daikin to ensure appropriate support to all Sales channels, Daikin Applied Factory Service and Daikin Applied Parts • Provide communications to support groups relative to market/industry trends in relationship to price, product needs, quality as well as training/development and compensation needs What’s In It For You • The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth • The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business development or related discipline • 6-8+ years of related sales experience and leadership in support of sales • Demonstrated sales success -- energized by meeting or exceeding sales goals • Outstanding relationship management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, communications, or related field • Commercial HVAC sales experience • Experience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking software • Prior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts Benefits Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: • Non-logoed company vehicle with most expenses paid • Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance • 401K retirement plan with employer match • Paid time off and company paid holidays • Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law • Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $126,100 - $215,400. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
