The Product Management and Marketing Director will lead the strategy, vision, and execution for air and water cooled chiller portfolio by guiding teams, defining roadmaps, driving launches, and ensuring alignment with business goals through deep market/customer understanding and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Location: Remote What you will do: Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and champion the overall chiller product vision, strategic direction, and long-term roadmap, aligning it with company objectives. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and mentor product managers and marketing teams, fostering a data-driven, high-performance culture. Market & Customer Expertise: Deeply understand market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to identify opportunities and define differentiated and innovative products. Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Oversee product launches, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement, working with marketing to drive adoption and revenue. Performance Management: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product effectiveness, revenue generation, profitability, and market success. Develop and manage department operating budgets to support operational, promotional, and successful product launches. Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience HVAC product and/or Chiller experience 10+ years of Product Management experience 6+ years of people leadership experience Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Qualifications: 12+ years of relevant experience Both air- and water-cooled chiller experience Benefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions Company provided life insurance + optional employee-paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage, and voluntary accident coverage Short-term and long-term disability 3 weeks of paid time off for new employees + 11 company-paid holidays Vacation accrues on a monthly basis, unless applicable federal, state, and local law requires a faster accrual Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state, and local law Paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $142,600-$243,600 + 30% bonus in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
