Title: Oracle Systems Administrator Location: Remote Job Type: Contract (6 months) Compensation: $70-80/hr W2 Industry: Renewable Energy --- About the Role We are seeking an experienced Oracle Systems Administrator to support a leading renewable energy company. This role focuses on managing Oracle cloud environments, ensuring system reliability, and optimizing integrations that power critical business operations. You will work across multiple environments and collaborate with internal teams and Oracle Support to maintain secure, high-performing systems.Job Description As an Oracle Systems Administrator, you will manage Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) environments, oversee service requests, and ensure compliance with security and performance standards. Key responsibilities include: • Service Request Management: Create, track, and manage Oracle Support SRs; collect logs and diagnostics; coordinate troubleshooting with Oracle engineers; communicate resolutions to stakeholders. • Oracle Integration Cloud Administration: Monitor integration flows, packages, and connections; manage REST, SOAP, file server, and adapter integrations; troubleshoot failures and connectivity issues; apply patches and updates per Oracle release cycles. • Autonomous Transaction Processing Administration: Provision and configure ATP instances; manage database users, roles, and privileges; monitor performance metrics and backup status; assist with tuning and incident resolution. • Monitoring, Security, and Compliance: Monitor health dashboards and alerts; enforce IAM policies; ensure secure access; support audit and compliance processes; implement best practices for encryption and backups. • Environment & Release Management: Support multiple environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD); coordinate deployments, patch windows, and regression testing; validate post-deployment stability. Qualifications Required: • Proven experience administering Oracle Integration Cloud and ATP environments. • Strong understanding of Oracle SR processes and troubleshooting methodologies. • Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, and adapter-based integrations. • Knowledge of IAM policies, security best practices, and compliance standards. • Ability to manage multiple environments and coordinate release cycles. Preferred: • Experience in renewable energy or related industries. • Familiarity with performance tuning and incident resolution for Oracle cloud services. • Strong communication skills for stakeholder updates and cross-team collaboration.
