Responsibilities: The Sourcing & Contracts Analyst – Services/Construction will partner with other Sourcing & Contract professionals to support Projects, Operations and Pipeline activities. In this individual contributor role, the Sourcing & Contracts Analyst will learn and execute basic requests for proposals, support development of bid event materials, facilitate the execution of NDAs and draft Task Orders as needed to support the stakeholder schedules and budgets. This position requires knowledge of the procurement function, ability to learn and apply basic contracting concepts, practices and conduct procurement activities. The Sourcing & Contracts Analyst must be able to apply this knowledge when reviewing requisitions to find the best opportunity for with respect to cost, quality and on time completion. Additional job responsibilities include the following: • Learn and apply procurement processes and supply chain best practices to support of business objectives. • Issue and complete Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with potential bidders/vendors, as required. • Support internal stakeholders with daily contract lifecycle management (CLM) and Procure to Pay (P2P) input activities and processes. • Update, maintain existing CLM records and verify correctness of P2P inputs to avoid inconsistencies to ensure input accuracy. • Prepare, sort and organize CLM and P2P data for reporting. • Support pre-bid meetings, receive and analyze vendor responses, tabulate and evaluate offers, and support in making recommendations for awards aligned with business needs. • Understand and be able to negotiate standard terms and conditions, scope of work, and pricing in agreements to protect the company from risks and liabilities. • Learn to draft Task Orders, contract amendments and contract extensions with the support of Legal. • Apply business requirements in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. • Learn and apply knowledge of vendor capabilities to build bid lists and bid packages. • Learn the basic principles of terms and conditions, scopes of work, and pricing in agreements/contracts. • Assist internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives of cost, quality, and schedule while maintaining positive working relationships. • Ensure all agreements and purchases follow all company policies and procedures and are compliant with all federal, state and local laws and regulations. • Perform other duties assigned. Qualifications: • Recent graduate with Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or another related field. • 0 – 3 year’s experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain role involving services or construction projects with civil, structural and mechanical scopes. • Basic awareness of sourcing, contracting and procurement processes. • Good interpersonal skills and ability to building relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as vendors. • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present key details and conclusions. • Familiarity with MS OfficeSuite suite of tools. • Interest in and comfort with being a part of a team environment with rapidly changing assignments and priorities. • Demonstrated initiative, motivated to learn, take on challenges and work with strong attention to detail. • Willing to report in office daily, with occasional nights and weekend work require. • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers is required. • Periodic travel to sites in Louisiana and/or suppliers in various domestic and international locations will be required. • May be required to carry a cell phone and respond as needed during working and non-working hours. Work Hours: 9AM – 5PM, Mon – Friday (some overtime may be required)
