Managing payroll, data analysis, and compliance in large-scale payroll operations.
Extensive payroll management experience, data analysis skills, and familiarity with ERP systems, but limited direct experience in benefits and LOA administration.
Our UCAN Benefits Operations team is seeking a US Benefits and Leaves of Absence (LOA) Analyst contractor to support the administrative needs of our benefit plans and LOA programs. Our benefits and LOA programs are unique. We are seeking a subject matter expert in all areas of US Benefits and LOAs. This role will be the primary contact for medical and family leave case management, be responsible for tier 3 benefit inquiries and escalations, and operational administration of our benefit programs. Responsibilities • Leaves of Absence Case Management • Medical leave management up to 12 weeks • Carer’s (Family) leave management up to 12 weeks • Support return to work processes • Ensure proper data management in Workday and medical leave paperwork approval processes • Handle tier 3 Zendesk inquiries • Support cases and inquiries managed by our third-party administrator • Benefits Administration • Experience managing the administration and vendor management for 401(k) and health plans, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, and HSA. • First point of contact for tier 3 escalations and partnering with our shared services team to resolve employee inquiries. • Experience and solid understanding of benefit compliance requirements • Content Review management for our internal and external benefit sites • Investigate and resolve enrollment errors within our HRIS system, Workday ? Partner with our benefit Managers on strategic projects, including the implementation of new benefits, communication efforts, and adding new employee groups to existing plans. ? Supporting Annual Open Enrollment Requirements • 2-4 years of Leave of absence administration, benefits, and retirement plan administration • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment and effectively communicate with business partners while remaining highly organized and empathic. • Expertise in all applicable LOA/Disability/Accommodation-related laws within the US; ability to resolve different leave and accommodations issues. • Experience with managing confidential data with good judgment, tact, and discretion, observing local and federal laws within the US. • Ability to partner across the business and at different levels. • Highly organized with the ability to manage different processes efficiently and with high degrees of accuracy and completeness. • Sound understanding of HR standard methodologies for compliance and records management • Experience with 401(k) and self-funded health plans is a plus • Experience using Workday is preferred (expertise in LOA and Benefits modules is a plus) Pay Rate Range • $40-50/hr.
