Job Overview: Pay Range: $81.22hr - $86.22hr Requirement/Must Have: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree). - Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration. - Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and network security. - Basic SQL knowledge for querying transfer logs/status. - Knowledge of PGP/GPG encryption, SSH key management, and certificate management (SSL/TLS). - Direct experience configuring and maintaining MFT solutions. - Background in troubleshooting failed transfers and diagnosing connectivity issues. - On-call availability for after-hours support. - Experience with change management processes. - Experience with vendor/partner onboarding for file transfer setups. Responsibilities: - Deploys the release of new technologies as well as designs, installs, configures, maintains and performs system integration testing of PC/server operating systems, related utilities and hardware. - Responsible for trouble shooting server problems as reported by users. - Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products. - Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment. - Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, installs new servers and maintains the server infrastructure. Nice to Have: - Relevant technical certifications. - Vendor-specific certifications such as IBM Sterling or Axway certifications. - ITIL Foundation certification. - Certifications in relevant OS platforms (Linux, Microsoft). - Experience with monitoring/alerting tools such as Client , Nagios, or SolarWinds. Skills: - SFTP. - FTP/FTPS. - HTTP/HTTPS. - IBM Sterling File Gateway. - Axway. - Sterling Secure Proxy. - Sterling Connect Direct. - Shell scripting. - Bash. - PowerShell. - Python. - Perl. - Control-M. - AutoSys. - Cron. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Attention to detail. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Qualification And Education: - 5-7+ years in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
