Job Description: • The Active Directory Administrator will provide Level 3 (L3) support for Active Directory environments, focusing on migration, consolidation, patch management, and enterprise directory services operations. • The role requires deep technical expertise in AD architecture, troubleshooting, security translation, and cross-team coordination to meet SLA and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Provide L3 support for Active Directory migration and operational calls during business hours. • Ensure SLA and QoS targets are consistently met. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and escalate pending or failed incidents. • Update knowledge base documentation and maintain detailed technical records. • Design, plan, and implement Active Directory and Hyper-V environments. • Lead migration and consolidation projects, including merger and demerger activities. • Monitor and generate reports for AD performance and health. • Test and implement Microsoft security patches. • Support Windows Server migrations (Windows 2000/2003 to 2008). • Provide documentation for installation, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting processes. Technical Requirements: • Strong expertise in Active Directory concepts including OU structure, group memberships, inherited permissions, and security groups. • Hands-on experience with AD migration tools such as ADMT and Quest. • Experience in security translation and directory consolidation. • Strong knowledge of Windows Registry configuration and system-level modifications. • Expertise in Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, and Windows 2008 environments. • Experience with VMware administration. • Proficiency in backup solutions, patch management, and antivirus tools. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Experience in reporting tools and documentation practices.
