Position Summary We are hiring a Clinical Product and Programs Manager to champion clinical initiatives within Cylinder. The Clinical Product and Programs Manager will report to the Chief Medical Officer and work closely with the Clinical Operations and Product teams. This individual will serve as an internal and external leader for clinical strategy as it relates to care delivery, digital products, member outcomes, and more. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deeply understand the role of Cylinder’s Care Team and digital application, the needs of Cylinder clients, and to become an expert on all things gut health, including clinical approach, industry trends, and scientific evidence. Serving as trusted subject matter expert and advisor, you will also help shape Cylinder’s clinical strategy, keeping our product line clinically and scientifically accurate and effective. You will play a key role in leading the organization’s clinical approach to support member outcomes, engagement, and thought leadership within the GI space. Responsibilities Include: Develop clinical programs from the ground up, including design and implementation of new clinical services and digital products, in close collaboration with clinical operations and technical product management teams Lead strategic initiatives related to clinical innovation and outcomes Act as a liaison between clinical teams and technical teams and manage the roadmap for clinical initiatives Serve as a subject matter expert (internally and externally) on clinical topics including population health management, chronic disease management, patient engagement, GI conditions, GI medications, medical spending and utilization patterns, microbiome science, and industry trends Work collaboratively with the Product, Design, Engineering, Data Insights, Operations and Commercial teams (among others) to deliver a world class product and service Participate in external-facing roles, such as interfacing with clients, serving as a subject matter expert, and managing work for external vendors and partners, as assigned You'll be a good fit here if you are: A strong communicator Self-directed, highly organized, and ability to manage multiple projects with strong project management skills Propensity for curiosity, strategic thinking and ability to see beyond traditional models of care Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and digestive conditions, including trends, challenges, and opportunities; understanding of how to drive value between payors, patients and healthcare organizations Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity Desired Qualifications: Hold a Masters Degree, MD, or PhD in clinical field, with familiarity of GI conditions 5+ years of experience in clinical and digital product and program strategy, design and implementation, B2B2C digital health experience preferred Experience in the development of digital tech-enabled applications, working closely with product management/program management Demonstrated record of leading interdisciplinary projects from beginning to end Knowledge of a variety of research methods to evaluate clinical outcomes, including RCTs and RWE studies Cylinder is an equal opportunity employer.
