Sales Director - Oncology & Hematology Location: Ideally located near a major airport in a major metropolitan area in Eastern US. Position Summary: This is a full-time position within the US Sales department, working remotely from home. Cycle Pharmaceuticals is looking for an enthusiastic and talented team player to join its fast-growing Sales Department as a Director of Sales – East. Preference for candidates to live near a major airport in Eastern US. This is a role leading an oncology and hematology focused sales team. If you want to know more about what we do then, why not check out our website below and look at some of our patient stories: Patient Stories - Cycle Pharma What you will be doing • Recruit, hire, train, coach, motivate, monitor and lead direct sales reports selling products for oncology and hematology. • Perform regular field coaching visits with direct sales reports and document performance. • Contribute to the national sales targets. • Cold-call and sell through a variety of mediums including phone, email, video conferencing, and face to face. • Responsible for US Market product launch and sales. • Ensure commercial development of US activities by executing commercial strategies with resources provided. • Monitor and track progress for US Market growth. • Educate HCPs and staff on the prescribing process when customers identify patients. • Partner with our HUB and wider patient support team to coordinate patient support. • Line Manage Account Managers, support their development and performance, and ensure sales targets are set and achieved. • Identify thought leaders and recruit for advocacy and peer-to-peer education. • Partner with like-minded companies and counterpart representatives to gain access to providers, market intel, and confirm data points regarding treatment centers, personnel and active patients. • Maintain a continuous flow of feedback and information sharing with Marketing to help inform the marketing strategy and production of materials. • Collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, US leadership and commercial operations regarding current tools and messages. • Execute marketing and business development plans, and support medical meeting presence to communicate key messages. • Remain current and adhere to compliance guidelines. • Develop and execute a quarterly business plan and strategies using data and analytics. Skills and experience required to be successful in this position: • Bachelor's degree required • Experience leading sales teams in pharmaceutical products and/or specialty pharmacy services in oncology and /or hematology • Experience leading sales teams in pharmaceutical products in CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia) and ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia) preferred • Minimum 3 years of direct people leadership experience in rare disease / specialty biopharma and/or specialty pharmacy preferred • Proven experience in biopharmaceutical industry and Hospital/Institutional sales experience • Entrepreneurial attitude and/or experience in a growth environment • Experience working with products distributed via specialty pharmacies and supported by patient services/ hubs • Proven track record of delivering high performance results that meet or exceed targeted objectives • Comfortable operating and leading in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt and deal with change • Collaborative leader and organizationally savvy team player with a history of successfully leading, influencing, and motivating high performance teams to achieve results in a direct-line and matrix management setting • Comfortable navigating in ambiguity, able to balance process with agility and able to make timely and insightful decisions and to solve problems. • Autonomous, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • Excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills required • Willingness to travel > 80% with occasional weekend travel • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
