We believe in work-life balance and ensuring our employees are supported both personally and professionally.   ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Outbound and Logistics Specialist will ensure sales orders are shipped on time and in-full, as well as in compliance with customer routing guides. Additionally, the Outbound and Logistics Specialist will interface with Sales, Marketing, and our 3PL (3rd Party Logistics Provider) to prioritize orders and meet customer expectations. They will also work in SAP and the 3PL WMS to help ensure inventory integrity between systems, as well as support other areas as needed. This is an on-site role (5 days a week) based out of our Lebanon, Tennessee location.   Duties and responsibilities: Manage shipment routing requirements with CEVA (3PL) and train their team as needed. Become the SME (Subject Matter Expert) on key account routing and shipping guides/requirements. Understand and communicate customer’s labeling requirements, minimizing chargebacks related to label compliance. Anticipate disruptions to the transportation flow and develop mitigation strategies. Schedule and track shipments with LTL (less than truck load), and TL (truck load) carriers. Monitor and update inventory records using SAP and warehouse reports. Help troubleshoot discrepancies between SAP and WMS. Develop reporting and record keeping that allows Cybex to monitor and track KPIs. Crosstrain to provide backup coverage in capabilities within the Logistics Department. Upon request, the employee can be asked to perform additional tasks that correspond to the type of position, or become necessary, because of company operations.   Internal organizational interfaces: Demand Planning Sales Operations After Sales   External organizational interfaces: Domestic transportation partners: parcel, LTL, and TL carriers Warehousing & Distibution partners/3PL Freight forwarders Customs brokers   Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent required Associates or bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 year’s experience in transportation, shipment routing, or domestic freight forwarding brokerage   Required Technical Competencies: Full proficiency in MS Offce Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; WMS also preferred Understanding of industry terminology such as PRO numbers, BOLs, and routing practices   Required Behavioral Competencies: Structured and well organized Good prioritization skills Highly motivated Team player Independent and self sufficient Able to work under pressure Goal/result oriented   The compensation for this position is $26 to $31 dollars per hour. In addition to the base salary, this position may offer benefits, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
