Structural Steel Project Engineer $150-$200k Be the engineer who turns drawings into steel in the air. This role puts you in the middle of high profile structural steel projects where your decisions move schedules, cranes, and crews. Why this role is worth your time • You own the technical execution of structural steel from shop to field • You work directly with fabricators, erectors, designers, and PMs • Medical / Dental insurance • 401k • Annual raise • Eligible for profit sharing / bonus • Salary: 150k to 200k DOE The work you will actually do • Plan and coordinate structural steel scopes, schedules, and budgets • Review shop drawings, calculations, and fabrication details • Solve steel issues in real time during fabrication and erection • Support field crews and erectors with technical clarity • Ensure code compliance, QC, and safe execution Projects you would touch • Major commercial and industrial structures • Transportation, infrastructure, and complex steel packages • High visibility work where mistakes are not an option What they are looking for • Degree in civil or structural engineering • Strong grasp of codes, shop drawings, and field coordination • AISC / AWS exp strongly preferred • PE or PMP strongly preferred Benefits • Very competitive salary ($150k-$200k DOE) • Annual bonus • Annual raise • Tuition assistance • 401k • Medical / dental • Disability insurance - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
