Job Title: Staff / Principal Firmware Engineer Job Location: Westminster, CO Salary: $150k - $180k + Bonus, Benefits, 401k Match, PTO, etc. Requirements: 10+ Years as a Firmware Engineer + C/C++, RTOS, microprocessors, Microcontrollers, Python, etc. This is a full time / permanent position for a leading company in the wireless sensor space. They provide advanced wireless security wearables that are used in hospitals and senior living facilities. They are currently in a major growth phase and looking for a Staff / Principal level Firmware Engineer. What You Will Be Doing • Firmware development for wireless devices and software applications to support them • Design and lead effective design review meetings for assigned software sub-modules • Report accurate and timely status of assigned tasks • Interact with all functional departments and participate regularly in meetings with engineers and project managers What You Need For This Position • 10+ years of Firmware experience • Embedded firmware development experience required (C/C++) • Experience with RTOS required (embedded Linux experience a plus) • Experience working with microcontrollers and microprocessors required, such as: Silicon Labs FG/BG/MG, TI MSP-430, K60/Cortex M4 (ARM architecture experience a plus) • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python required • Experience with or knowledge of Bluetooth/wireless protocols desired • Experience in managing or leading a small team • Experience with software architecture, high-level and detailed design documents required • Bachelors or Masters in EE, Computer Science, or related is preferred Top Reasons to Work with Us • Salary ($150K - $180K DOE) + Bonus • Full Benefits (health, dental, vision, etc.) • 401k match • Stability • Work Hybrid - 2 days / week remote Benefits Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
