Company Overview We are a dynamic engineering and automation company that thrives on solving complex industrial challenges. Our systems integration focused team was founded 20+ years ago and services the Pacific Northwest region. We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead our automation projects and enhance our control systems. We have several offices throughout Washington and Oregon. Position Overview The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Rockwell PLC programming and a proven track record in industrial automation solutions. This role will involve designing, implementing, and testing control systems to optimize performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and implementation of control systems for various automation projects • Program Rockwell PLCs and develop HMI/SCADA interfaces • Conduct system integration and commissioning of control systems in industrial environments • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems and provide technical support • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance system performance • Document system designs, configurations, and maintenance procedures • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in automation and controls Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering with a focus on Rockwell PLCs • Strong knowledge of programming languages including Python, C#, and C++ • Experience with HMI, SCADA, Ladder Logic, and other control system software • Familiarity with CFD, Ignition, Machine Vision, FactoryTalk, and industrial robotics is a plus • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts Benefits • Cutting edge technology • Healthcare packages • Growth opportunity • PTO • Profit sharing • Bonus opportunity • Relo bonus offered • $130-140k • Up to 30% travel required Email Your Resume In Word To Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
