Senior Project Designer - Multifamily | Mixed-use Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Designer with expertise in multifamily and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will lead the design and execution of innovative housing projects, focusing on both affordable and market rate solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural design principles as well as proficiency in construction documentation. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design process for multifamily and mixed-use projects from concept through completion. • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members to develop design solutions that meet project objectives. • Create detailed construction documents using Revit and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards. • Mentor and guide junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative team environment. • Present designs and project updates to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments. • Conduct site visits to oversee project progress and ensure design integrity throughout the construction phase. Qualifications • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field. • A minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural design, specifically in multifamily and mixed-use projects. • Proficient in Revit and other design software. • Registered Architect (AIA and NCARB certification preferred). • Strong understanding of construction documentation and project management processes. • Experience in affordable housing and market rate projects is highly desirable.
