Research Scientist- PHD - AI/Audio Modeling/Speech Recognition We are a foundational AI start-up! We have presence in SF, Miami and Salt Lake City, but are open to someone 100% remote! Our focus is to be able to come up with more efficient language modeling and all sorts of applied research. Right now we are scaling our R&D team to come up with more efficient models to sacle! We believe that the next wave of AI will be scalable and more efficient and want to ensure this piece is capitalized on and not ignored! Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist with a PhD in a relevant field to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will focus on AI applications in audio modeling and speech recognition, contributing to cutting-edge research and development projects that aim to enhance our product offerings. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid or remote work environment. Key Responsibilities • Conduct research on audio modeling and speech recognition technologies. • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for improved audio processing. • Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and optimize performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into practical applications. • Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, audio modeling, and speech recognition. • Mentor junior researchers and assist in their professional development. Qualifications • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • Strong experience in audio modeling and speech recognition. • Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling techniques. • Solid understanding of signal processing and natural language processing. • Expertise in Python and Matlab for data analysis and algorithm development. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
