Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Prototype Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating prototypes and supporting research and development projects. This role requires expertise in CNC machining and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex machining problems effectively. Key Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC machines to create high-quality prototypes according to specifications. • Collaborate with engineers and designers during the R&D process to refine prototype designs. • Utilize prototype fabrication techniques to produce parts and assemblies. • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to ensure production efficiency and quality. • Document processes and maintain accurate records of prototypes and production runs. Qualifications • Proven experience as a machinist with a focus on prototype fabrication. • Proficiency in CNC machining and CNC programming. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining challenges. • Experience in a research and development environment is preferred. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
