Project Manager- Structural Steel -RELOCATION ASSISTANCE OFFERED- Project Manager We're a leader in high quality steel erection and fabrication in the Southern California region. Our headquarters is in South San Diego and we've secured projects throughout the state. Our focus on safety, efficiency and meeting our client's expectations has led to continued growth and since being founded back in 1995. We're growing and looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team! Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage steel construction projects from initial planning through to execution and completion. • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project success. • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle. • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise. • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including AISC and AWS standards. • Utilize project management tools to track project milestones and deliverables effectively. • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the steel construction industry. • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes and heavy steel erection. • Familiarity with AISC and AWS standards. • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Tekla. • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
