Project Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to oversee and manage K-12 construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines. • Coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment. • Manage project budgets and financials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial plans. • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and building codes. • Prepare and submit project documentation, including reports, plans, and budgets. • Utilize AutoCAD for design and project planning as required. • Engage with stakeholders to address concerns and ensure project objectives are met. • Collaborate with team members to foster a productive work environment and meet project goals. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. • Proven experience as a Project Engineer in construction. • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and construction management principles. • Familiarity with building codes and regulations. • Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Knowledge of site safety practices and quality control measures. • Experience with K-12 education facilities projects is a plus.
