Position Overview The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. Well established heavy civil shop that offers 401k (with profit sharing), healthcare, PTO etc that is urgently hiring. I'm a heavy civil recruiter and have multiple positions open in NYC and CT. Key Responsibilities • Assist in the development and management of project schedules and budgets. • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met. • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise. • Prepare and review project documentation such as RFIs, change orders, and submittals. • Utilize Procore and Bluebeam to manage project information and documentation effectively. • Provide oversight of civil construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. • Collaborate with project managers to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Required Qualifications • 1 year of construction related experience Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field. • Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam software. • Ability to prepare and manage RFIs and other project documentation.
