Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer specializing in Controls and Electrical, and Instrumentation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing projects in the industrial, water, and wastewater sectors, ensuring that control systems are designed, integrated, and implemented effectively to meet our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities • Manage the design and execution of control systems for industrial, water, and wastewater projects. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project development and execution. • Provide expertise in instrumentation and controls, including PLC and HMI systems. • Conduct project estimating and bid preparation to ensure competitive and accurate proposals. • Oversee the integration of control systems with existing utilities and infrastructure. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including UL 508A, and safety regulations. • Prepare and review technical documentation, project reports, and specifications. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering focused on control systems and E,I&C. • Proven experience in the design and integration of control systems in industrial applications. • Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and instrumentation technologies. • Experience with project estimating and bidding processes. • Familiarity with water and wastewater utility operations is a plus. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
