Mechanical Engineer - Design Project Manager Position Overview We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer - Design Project Manager to lead and manage mechanical design projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with a focus on energy modeling and design for mission-critical facilities, including data centers and hospitals. This role requires excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead mechanical design projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. • Develop and optimize mechanical systems for data centers, mission-critical facilities, and hospitals. • Create energy models to analyze building performance and sustainability. • Utilize tools such as Revit and Navisworks for design and collaboration. • Prepare specifications and technical documentation for mechanical systems. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions. • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality and compliance with design specifications. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. • Certification in Energy Management (CEM) and/or LEED accreditation is a plus. • Proven experience in mechanical design, particularly for data centers and mission-critical projects. • Strong understanding of energy modeling and building performance analysis. • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and HAP software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
