With regional offices in CO, WA, UT, TX, GA, WY, and IA, we're growing fast in response to the booming demand for AI, remote work, and digital infrastructure. Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of large-scale, hyperscale data center infrastructure projects, with a focus on Physical Layer 1 (fiber, cabling, splicing). This role is responsible for managing a team of Project Managers, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic alignment across multiple concurrent construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in telecommunications infrastructure, construction leadership, and financial oversight, with a proven ability to scale operations and drive results in fast-paced environments. This role will oversee operations across 1-2 locations within Eastern and Central time zones, managing a team of 2-6 Project Managers and ~100 hourly payroll staff. The position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with part-time travel (up to 50%). On-site presence is required to launch new projects and to address critical issues as they arise. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of Project Managers executing hyperscale data center Physical Layer 1 infrastructure projects • Oversee all operational and strategic aspects of program delivery, including planning, execution, risk management, and quality assurance • Develop and implement best practices, process improvements, and standard operating procedures across all projects • Own and manage program-level financials including P&L, capital and operational budgets, forecasts, and cost control strategies • Serve as the primary escalation point for project issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives • Drive business development initiatives and customer relationship management to support growth and service expansion • Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement • Participate in strategic planning and change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in mission-critical construction environments • Proven track record managing large-scale, high-volume infrastructure programs specifically in hyperscale data center environments • Strong background in Physical Layer 1 infrastructure including fiber optic splicing, cabling, and network layout design • Demonstrated expertise in financial management including budgeting, forecasting, cost reduction, and tracking • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects / PMs across diverse geographies • Excellent skills in strategic planning, operations management, and risk/change management • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead at all levels of the organization • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices Benefits • Competitive Compensation Package • 401K with 50% employer match up to first 4% • Insurance options including Medical plans with FSA/HSA, Disability, Dental and Vision • 8 Paid Holidays • 3 weeks Paid Time Off combining sick pay and vacation days • Career growth opportunities • Ability to work from home and travel on a need-be basis • Phone allowance • Vehicle allowance • Per Diem for travel Email Your Resume In Word To Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
