Project Manager of Commissioning Position Overview The Project Manager of Commissioning will oversee the commissioning processes of data center projects, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and operational according to specifications. This role entails managing project timelines, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities • Lead the commissioning process for data center projects from initiation to completion. • Coordinate with construction teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. • Implement project management best practices to ensure timely and efficient project execution. • Conduct quality assurance assessments and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 regulations. • Utilize project planning tools and software such as Procore and Bluebeam for effective project tracking and documentation. • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and risks. • Manage vendor relationships and oversee subcontracted services to ensure consistent quality and performance. • Review and approve design documents and CAD drawings to ensure adherence to project specifications. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in commissioning and construction. • Proven expertise in data center projects and commissioning processes. • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. • Experience with vendor management and quality assurance protocols. • Familiarity with safety standards including NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 regulations. • Proficient in CAD, Bluebeam, and Procore software for project documentation and management. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
