PLC Automation Manager Position Overview We are seeking a skilled PLC Automation Manager to lead our automation projects and ensure the seamless integration of control systems in our operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems, driving efficiency and safety across all processes. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and implementation of PLC and control systems for various projects. • Manage and coordinate automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. • Develop and optimize SCADA and HMI systems for enhanced operational visibility and control. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process control strategies within the manufacturing environment. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and emerging technologies in automation. • Conduct training sessions for staff on automation systems and best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Proven experience in managing PLC and automation projects. • Strong knowledge of Automation Systems, Control Systems, SCADA, and HMI development. • Proficiency in troubleshooting and process control. • Experience with Industrial Networks and Communication Protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP). • Familiarity with Siemens and Allen-Bradley systems. • Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead teams effectively. • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
