Position: Operations Director Portfolio: ~1500 units Environment: Hybrid/Remote: 5-10 travel days per month throughout Midwest and to Nashville HQ Position Overview The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of property management services. This role involves strategic leadership to enhance property performance, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure exceptional service delivery to clients and residents. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage all aspects of property management operations to achieve organizational goals. • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's objectives and enhance property performance. • Oversee property management accounting and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency. • Manage HR functions including recruitment, training, and employee development to build a high-performing team. • Implement performance management systems to evaluate and improve staff productivity and service quality. • Oversee portfolio management, ensuring that properties are maintained at the highest standards and exceed client expectations. • Develop and facilitate training and development programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in property management practices. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process enhancements. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on operations and leadership roles. • Strong knowledge of property management accounting and financial principles. • Proven experience in HR functions and team management. • Experience in portfolio management and performance management best practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, staff, and stakeholders. • CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation is highly desirable.
