Attorney - Oil and Gas Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Attorney specializing in Oil and Gas law to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel, support, and representation in matters related to the oil and gas industry, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating transactions. Key Responsibilities • Provide legal advice and representation on oil and gas transactions and regulatory compliance. • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to oil and gas operations. • Conduct legal research and analysis on issues related to energy law, environmental regulations, and industry practices. • Assist in dispute resolution, including mediation and litigation related to oil and gas disputes. • Stay updated on legal developments and changes in oil and gas regulations and industry standards. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal issues and support business objectives. Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction. • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience with a focus on oil and gas law. • Strong understanding of energy regulations and industry practices. • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills. • Experience in title examination and legal due diligence in oil and gas transactions is a plus.
