Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Attorney specializing in Personal Injury Law to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will represent plaintiffs in various personal injury cases, providing exceptional legal counsel and advocacy throughout the litigation process. The attorney will be responsible for managing cases from pre-litigation to trial, ensuring clients receive the best possible outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Represent clients in personal injury litigation, including but not limited to auto accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice cases. • Conduct thorough investigations of personal injury claims and gather necessary evidence. • Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests. • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies on behalf of clients. • Prepare for and conduct depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as needed. • Present cases in court, delivering compelling arguments before judges and juries. • Maintain case files and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines. • Advise clients on legal rights and options throughout the litigation process. Qualifications • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation. • Strong understanding of personal injury law and litigation processes. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and trial advocacy skills. • Proficient in legal research and writing. • Experience with mass torts and class action lawsuits is a plus.
