Financial Services Sr. Audit Manager - PUBLIC ACCOUNTING BACKGROUND A MUST Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Sr. Audit Manager to lead our auditing processes in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit management and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, ensuring compliance and risk management across various audit engagements. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage audit engagements for financial services clients, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. • Develop audit plans, risk assessments, and audit programs tailored to the unique needs of financial services organizations. • Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process. • Review and analyze financial statements and reports, identifying areas of concern and recommending improvements. • Communicate audit findings to clients and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and solutions for risk mitigation. • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and trends, ensuring that audit methodologies are aligned with best practices. • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate audits and ensure comprehensive coverage of all financial aspects. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred. • CPA certification is required. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in audit management, specifically within the financial services sector. • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices. • Experience with broker-dealers, investment entities, and custody audits is a plus. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
