Operations Director Position Overview The Operations Director will oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in project management and construction processes. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and team leadership to achieve operational excellence in various construction projects. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and efficiency in project management and construction. • Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. • Lead and mentor project managers and construction teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. • Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and expectations. • Monitor and evaluate project performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve operational objectives. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all construction activities. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management and construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. • Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies, including ground-up construction and remodels. • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients and stakeholders. • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar credentials is a plus.
